O-Tolyl-Biquanide (CAS NO 93-69-6)

CRISTOL-OTB is a substituted Dicyandiamide type-Curing Agent suitable for the production of epoxy based powder coatings. It is used in the production of clear, high gloss, pigmented, colour stable, rapid reacting epoxy resin powder coating.

Powder Coatings based on CRISTOL-OTB are characterized by good flow & distinction of image. Minimum cure schedule recommended is 15 minutes @ 160° (metal temperature)

Its Gel Time @ 180° is 100-140 seconds when used at the recommended level of 5 PHR with type 3 epoxy resin (EEW 715-750).
